I make furniture and traditional crafts using coppiced wood from sustainably managed woodlands.

I tend to use hand tools rather
than electric ones. It takes 
longer but is more effective. 
These tools include side axes, froes
(a splitting tool), gauges and draw knives. Techniques include cleaving down the grain of the wood (splitting).

I can make small ornaments to order such as carved butterflies, spoons, jewellery, bowls and boxes. 
I can also create wood products like benches, stools and sculptures, 
but these will require a longer 
time to create.
